  • Looking for work

Hello! New to Indonesia. I've been in East Java for three months with a KITAS in process for a year. I have ten+ years culinary experience in several different styles of food. I was wondering if anyone had any resources for finding jobs. I appreciate all the advice yall can give. Thank you.

So with a spouse VISA I would be able to have an employer apply for a work permit is that right? I do not have any kind of diploma for working in a kitchen : / . Do you think taking an online certification would help with this?

        (1) Right , if e-ITAS/KITAS sponsored by Indonesian spouse . Wrong if sponsored by a foreign spouse .

Note: An Indonesian Visa is valid only to enter Indonesia , when in Indonesia you hold a Stay Permit . In case you got a 1 year (or more) Limited Stay e-Visa , you need to get a 1 year (or more) e-ITAS/KITAS within 1 month after that .

        (2) I am not sure .
