2 week ago I send a list of seed to my bro in Canada.
It take him 2 week for finally go search for them... and come back with what I was expecting: Hey! We will have snow soon! Impossible to find your seed!

But... I have a bro with good contact, I will have a special order direct with a seed provider.
In... heu... many week just the transport can take a month!) I will receive seed of different kind of tomato, basilic, thym, etc...
I'm little bit worried about the thym, it's a plant who habitually grow in mountain with dry climate... not sure with my humid tropical forest!

After way too much long time to gather all the stuff need, yesterday I finaly start my paprika.
I made it as an activity with my older girl (while the younger one was sleeping).
She fill 8 cup (from plastic cup of water), put 2 seed in each cup and pour with water.
She had lot of fun and seem very interested... kid are always interested to get their hand dirty!!!

My only worry (as same then with my tomato) is sometime the plant are so much modified that seed of their fruit can't produce fertile plant.
The first set of flower of my tomato plant have all die (mostly of my fault for giving too much water...), the first set of flower of a new branch have also die out (only 1 bud). Now the main branch is almost 1 meter tall and have a nice bunch of bud (6+) eager to see if they will become fruit of not.
If they don't... I will wait for the seed of my bro.

A month ago I have start to grow kelengteng... the were "accidentally" destroy I will try again later, on internet I saw pic of people who grow it in a small pot and had fruit... my intended pot will be way more big (kelengteng are kind of big bush).

At this year olds (3) it's more about socialisation and it's good for the development of the kid... we just come to the conclusion they ask too much for socializing our kid.
I don't think it will be very penalizing for her to start pre-school at 4 instead of 3.
In canada, nobody put a feet in a school before 6 (half day for a year) and real school start at 7 and we stop school for 3 month in summer.

Sometime I really wonder with all the time passed at school (bahasa Indonesia is not particularly complicate to learn - try French!) how come the get out of there with so low result!

She will go to pre-school 2 hour per day for 1 year before going the school (it's only a half day!)

The younger one could also go to preschool, but we decide to wait one more year for her, 2 years of pre-school before going to school will be quite enough!

Both of my kid have 2-3 cousin of the same age and they will probably go all to the same school.

it's the social part of the forum, you are welcome to talk about whatever you want... but don't talk about Whatever : P

Since a while I was preparing for the upcoming rain season in September (here it last only a month).... and i'm still waiting for it!
The 2 previous year we had huge rain all September (more in the beginning and reducing until the end of the month for going back to the normal), this year NOTHING AT ALL. It's like if the dry season is going on forever.
