Wow, I didn't know that personal opinion was subject to correction. What I mean by good is not the same that you would mean, I'll give you that. Yeah, there are plotholes, yes there isn't enough character development, yes the story becomes trite, and so on. Still good. We can agree that there's worse! Source code is a science fiction, so I tolerate its strange premises. I thoroughly enjoy the drama, the sad feeling of inevitability, the desire for forgiveness, the beauty of simple love, the quiet commitment to honor, the heart breaking insistence on hope, and the triumph of said hope. This movie has one of the most satisfying endings in memory; it might be nonsensical (again, science fiction movies often are), but it sure is sweet.
It deals with questions I find interesting. What would you do if you can rewind the clock, would you choose to do things differently? What would you do if you have 8 minutes to live?
The movie is superbly acted. Jake Gyllenhaal is riveting and Vera Farmiga totally nails the tricky balance of playing a professional military officer and a compassionate woman.
I'd watch it again.Comment

Made my 2nd trip to the Indonesian embassy to sort out my Temporary Stay Visa. Was there last Thursday but was told to come back today as they had a long weekend last week. Fair enough. But when I was there earlier today, I was told to come back on another day instead as submission for visa application can only be done in the morning. Afternoons are only for collection.
I have no problems with that either. But the thing is, I did ask on Thursday if I could come at any time on Monday. I was told it wouldn't be an issue. So now I have to make my 3rd trip tomorrow to sort out the visa
I'm fully devoted to my job. 10% on Mon, 20% on Tue, 40% on Wed, 25% on Thurs and 5% on Fri.

Finally submitted my Temporary Stay Visa today. Will collect the visa on Friday. Another step closer to Jakarta
