Mangga tree
In front of teh house it have a mangga tree. It give shadow on the driveway and I have nothing to complian about it... Almost!
Now it is flowering, Yeah! fruit are coming!
But while waiting for the fruit sugar are dropping from the flower. This part of the drive way have become sticky.
Earlier the kid were playing their because they find it funny as they shoes were sticking on the driveway while they were walking.
The problem is the car, it is covered with drop of sticky sugar. I was afraid it will be hard to wash out, so I make a try on the rear window and it goes quite easily.
But still... the car look disgustingly dirty.
School day
I was expecting the beginning of my girl going to school more "adventurous".
Finaly thing are quite relax, no gastro, no fighting for not going to school and no fighting at school. Overall thing goes very well.
She like to go there, she take it as a big step in her life. In the beginning she was so proud to sit in front on the car (with her mom) for going to school and her her mom to leave right after arriving at her class room. When I pick her up she didn't want hold my hand and play her independent.
Now it start to be more part of her life and become more normal, she does hold my hand now.
We got some question on the like:
Why everyone have black hair and not me? (she is pale brown with strong red reflect)
I'm from where? her exact question was: Aku orang apa? she was asking about her nationality.
Other than this 2 thing no problem for her integration. She already speak bahasa and she probably speak better english than her teacher which is suppose to do most of the class in english.
The other day when we pick her up she ask us for changing school...
The mom is unable to make her talk, so it's my job... she don't like have her name on the board because she is late!
I find it silly they apply this rule to 5 year old kid when it is obviously the fault of the parent if the kid are late.
Anyway, i put an alarm on my phone for the "time to go" for no more late at school.
She didn't mention it again and the joy to go to school seem to be back.
The Joy of a Coffee
Some day ago I drop by an office for sold my service.
Like habitually the secretary understand it all wrong and go search for the HRD guy... at least she was going for the right guy!
While she go, someone came in the lobby and told me a big "Hi!" when he saw me.
He come to me and we shake and and I answer him: "Hi! heu.... who are you?"
Yep! it was one of does multiple awkward moment that someone recognize you and you don't.
It happen often to me in Indonesia as everyone seem to believe I will remember them because we exchange a "Hi" the time we ever cross somewhere on the road.
Finally the guy is one of my neighbor and as I walk a lot with my girl we have cross and said "hi". But even after have talk a little with him I can't even told you which one it is!
The important point is he have ordered me a coffee.
Not long after he left the HRD guy arrive and also the coffee.
I explain him my service which I can see in his eyes that he didn't really understand and the conversation was reaching his end. He drop he will contact me again the following week... but you know, I still have my coffee to drink.
Without the coffee I would probably had to leave at this point and he would probably not contact me again.
I take my time (not that much) to sip my coffee and talk more to the guy about my service, he start to understand it more and finally told me he will contact me the next day.
Now I could see his eyes becoming more bright and start to show rel interest in my service... he didn't contact me back the next day... but I was not expecting it too.
I will contact you next week = never
I will contact you tomorrow = next week
The day was save by the coffee!
