I must add that the disadvantage to be hairy is that bandage don't stick well...

There is more disadvantage of hairy body and open wounds .... eg. plasters. To take it off is more painful than the whole wound sometimes.

Yah... But when you reach my point, your hair are strong enough for not being peel with the plaster. Now I use a kind of medical tape which stick very better than a plaster.
The yesterday paster was kind of floating at 3mm upper the skin!

Anyway, my little one give me a kiss, everything will be alright!

I just read what happened to you Phil... give me a bit of chill up my spine.. (I can't really stand imagining an open wound.. unless its mine) but scars would heal, as long as you don't get fever, bad itch around the wound, you should be fine.. get well soon..

I take good care of it. Today my wife bring me a bottle of stong stuff. She told me it would hurt a lot.

After take my shower she pour it... It tickle a little!
Nothing to do with my "teinture d'iode" which I'm habitued to in Canada. This was burning! But everything become dry in a minute. I never had infection with that.

The new stuff from my wife is not so bad, it had allow to dry more. Still have a spot who is not still dry.
I keep it at open air for it can dry fast.

Now it hurt only when I get up after laid for a while and than the hurt disapear.
I should be alright very soon.

the medicine must be a chinese... not being racist about it... but my mom used to pour a med called "tieh tao yao chin" it hurts like hell... but it dries up the wound nicely... its not a drinkable stuff... if you happens to have internal wound, you could try "pien che huang"

Yah, my family in law are indonesian-chinese, the writing of the botol is all in chinese, I can not even told you what it is... But it seem to work good (I will really know after everything will be heal!)

just sharing for today's experience... actually nothing interesting... Today I was just going out to a client to have a food photo shoot in Plaza Indonesia, the restaurant called BAM!! & Senju (spanish tapas and japanese food), the food was marvelous.. (yes.. I get to eat what I shoot) and the price comes with the quality (only for those who is willing to pay for quality). I just feel so lucky to be able to taste and to grab the beauty of their food... Maybe if anyone wants to try it... its a definitely recommended.

these last days really consumed my energy and money.. needed to buy some flight tickets for the upcoming months trips and none of them are bizz trips. just regular visit and holidays
i know i will have fun when the days come, but, in the meantime i have to face my days with limited budget.. not saying that i wont be able to buy food ... but less baby back ribs for sure..
