How about Studio Ghibli stuff, Philippe? They might like Ponyo, Totoro, Kiki's Delivery Service or Spirited Away. Though, Spirited Away and Ponyo both have some "violent"
    conflict.

At home I have multiple anime for the kid, whatever I tried they want see nothing about anime with bird caracter like "Rio" and other similar.

Meanwhile I oftenly take walk with the kid. Recently we found a place where it have a kakatua (kakatoes) and the girl like to go see it (he is quite big). Another day we were passing by there a kid for the next house show us we can caress the bird, he seem to quite enjoy it. The kid also bring us behind the house where, I guess, his father have many kakatua, 3 huge turkey and a magnific peacock.
Another time we go there it have nobody and the peacock came very close of us. At first I was thinking he was curious about us as he show no sign of agressivity... Until it was close enough for jump on my feet with a "sheeee". Hopefully he didn't bite me nor run after my kid.

Anyway now my kid are big fan of the kakatua. The other day when I play them "RIO" and they recognize the kakatua in the movie (the bad "guy").
Now Rio is there prefered movie!

You right. Durian, jengkol, pete don't real fit together. Even if eating jengkol and pete together it will cause disease.

naughtygab, that's right but I smelled gourmand everywhere I go too. Maybe those who live in AC 24/7 wear it. I personally find it is more suitable for night use cos it's warm. When people wear it outside, during the (hot) day, yes I'd say it's like sticky, unpleasant. But I don't mind smelling gourmand in the mall or cool places, day or night time.

Reading NaughtyG's post I suddenly remember; the female version of Angel from Thierry Mugler, is in western Europe mostly sold to the male gay community.

whatever: perfume with gourmand notes is quite hard to get in Indonesia. as only few people like it. thierry muggler angel is the first fragrance with gourmand fragrance if not mistaken. vanilla mostly is defined as sticky for people here. (blame it on the humidity....)

phalange, yes scent is subjective, you should try them on your skin, leave it a while and see how it turns out. and not every man likes the same scent although many said that vanilla/gourmand/sweet scents drive them crazy, some say musky scent. i can give you a list of that group of scent if you want, but, um vera wang - princess or thierry mugler - angel are worth trying.

i myself cannot wear that type of scent cos they don't mix with my body chemistry, so i stick with clean, fresh, floral, floral/fruity scents. though i have been trying to find gourmand scent with a hint of freshness, which is hard to find. anyway, most importantly wear something that would make you feel more confident, not to please other people.

why not ask men here what they like on women? maybe it would help you find the scent that you need

btw, i asked a friend of mine to sniff some perfumes for me in the shops to see what he thinks about it and the result is interesting, he likes ones that suit me, not ones that he would like on me. i hope you know what i mean? that scent is different for every person...
