  • Since a while my older girl like to play being sick. I tink she find out it was bringing her attention and play it well all day long.
"Papa, perut sakit!" (belly hurt) with a pitiful expression.

From the Chinese pharmacology from the side of my wife we have small drug for stomach ache. I'm not even sure I can call that drug, they are kind of light natural drug with light effect. They are in form of very small ball inside a tube, must be hundred of them in the tube and they taste bitter. An adult is suppose to eat the whole tube when sick.

Last week when my little one repeat once again "papa, perut sakit", I have play doctor with her. Giving her an auscultation of her belly and prescribe her 4 small ball of the bitter drug.
Which, at my surprise, she eat slowly one by one with water.

I was hoping the bitterness of the pill would had repusle her... I was wrong! The day after she play me again her "perut sakit" and ask for have the "obat".
I don't mind giving her a very small dose of the drug, but I don't want give her that every day.
I make my brain work, for the little it can do, and decide to go for the Band Aid solution. I strap one over her navel and told her: "yah, sudah tumbuh!"
At first she was a little confuse but shortly become proud of her new "obat".

The day after, in morning, she go to her mom and said:
    -Momy, perut sakit
    -Do you want obat?
-Tidak perlu (no need), and she lift up her shirt for show her navel covered with the band aid and said with a big proud smile: Sudah ada! (already have!)

            • So I took transJ/busway today, its been a while since the last time I took it. It wasn't crowded so I could do a lil observation. Apparently now there is a women only section in that long bus, separated by pink letters on the side "KHUSUS UNTUK WANITA". How very nice, I thought. But then I saw a guy (tourist/expat) was sitting in the women section. I guess no one told him, including the officer there. So poor guy sat there innocently .Lucky him it wasn't crowded so nobody seemed to mind. So guys, if you take transJ, pink area means only for women, avoid that area ok? hahaha

                • Good morning all.. I had a day off yesterday. Got a mild flu and a bit shock. My performance review shows good result but when it comes to money wise errr... first question in my mind was "That's it?" Quite the opposite of what my manager told me about the performance result. Somehow i feel under appreciated a bit. But is it worth the stress?

Oh, that probably was that Medallo guy in the expat chat who was looking for freelancer / full time girls, and he was doing it not without intention..

                    • Like many already know me and my wife have a small (starting) food business.
Ramadan have bring us some more customer and make us lose at least one that we know.

She was not a direct contact, and they told us she don't buy anymore because because we are christian. My family in law are chinese and catholic, my and my wife are catholic as must as we don't have choice to be stamp by the gov with one of the approved religion.
... and you know, because we are "christian" our cake must not be Halal.

???? What the fuck??? Since when a cake can be haram???

More I live in Indo, more I realize that most of people know very little about their own religion...

Even once my mom was asked whether the cashew and peanut she made contained pork-oil or not. Like, how come? Or Why would we do so? -_-

The reason was something like: the one who cook is not muslim so it's haram

Their is a rule about animal who must be kill by a muslim... but it's all!
And it's about the killing not the cooking!!!
