How are PTs set up? Komisaris?

I am from I am from the US. In the US, publicly traded companies are typically set up with shareholders voting on members of the board of directors. They meet every so often, maybe quarterly or whatever. They hire the manager of the company, sometimes called the Chief Executive Officer. The board may also have a say in the Chief Financial Officer or other managers. The CEO runs the company, reporting to the board and hiring other staff.

In Indonesia, there is 'Direksi', and 'Komisaris'? What are these roles? How are publicly traded Indonesian companies set up? What roles are legally required in a PT or PMA? Do these roles correspond with the roles in a US corporation?
