  • Additional Requirements For e-Visa

    Hi all,

    I am in a process of applying for e- VITAS for my husband. It is not easy at all. The online forms are quite challenging as it doesn’t save what you have filled in and uploaded.
    Also there are additional requirements like health certificate, letter of statement and proof of insurance ownership.
    Does anyone have any experience regarding these additional requirements? How to obtain the health certificate? And what is a letter of statement?

    Many thanks

    Those additional documents refer to the present Covid-19 pandemic .

    Title : FLY TO INDONESIA WITH E-VISA

    [...You still have to comply with the health protocols and submit relevant documents, which include:
    1. A valid medical certificate (in English) from the local health authority and the COVID-19 negative PCR test result. Both documents must be issued within seven days prior to your arrival date in Indonesia;
    2. A statement of willingness to go into quarantine (mandatory or voluntary), pay for the expenses that occur during quarantine, comply with the prevailing laws and regulations, and willingness to be monitored by the local health authorities;
    3. A health insurance that covers the medical expenses of COVID-19 treatment, or a statement of willingness to pay for all the expenses that occur during the treatment.
    Poster's Note : The 1. above , I guess , is only a certificate stating the Visa requester had the test and the result was negative (and may not need to include the real test result) , which is what the Regulation no.26 year 2020 (see below) states .
