  • Surat Domisili for KK and KTP

    Hello, everyone.
I have run into some trouble with my wife's (sponsor for my kitas) Domisili address as we moved to another Kecamatan about 5 months ago. Previously we rented a house and during the time my wife renewed her KTP and KK using that address, but now when we have our baby and need to add the baby's name to my wife's KK, the owner of the house we rented doesn't want to give the permission. As I've understood, the Pak RT of our current place of stay doesn't want to give out surat pengantar for Surat Domisili (using surat pindah from the previous kecamatan/desa) to "guests" that come to live in the village we currently are in, so I can see a huge problem arising. Any tips or info on this?
    Thanks in advance, Herino24

    I don't think you need a permission of the house's owner .

With the rent contract and surat pindah , your Pak RT should issue you the Surat Pengantar .

From what I know , many (maybe most) Pak RT will not cause any problem to issue any related document . In the worst case you just need to give a tip . But better you and/or your wife go to Pak RT to introduce yourself/yourselves .

By the way , by Law , you need to report both the child birth and address change to Immigration .

        Thanks for the info.
I will be sure to do that after the child has been added to KK istri and address of residence has been changed too.
note: this is in Malang, Jatim.
