Exit Indonesia - cancel KITAS without EPO

Hello

We are a couple working in Indonesia for a company since 7 month. Now our Company cheating on us and is not paying our salary anymore. We now wanna leave the company and Indonesia and cancel the KITAS. But the company wan't give us an EPO. What can we do? What would be the punishment, if we go without cancel the KITAS and reentering Indonesia again as normal Tourists after the KITAS expired?

(The thing behind the scene: We are globetrotter and working, let's say: between the law, with a non-paper contract, but still with legal KITAS. So we have no "legal way" to go against the not payed salary. And we also working for a person who is having a high status in the government. That means, it's a little tricky situation...)

(1) I would explain that to Immigration and ask for the EPO without the usual sponsor's letter .

(2) The new Regulation (PP no.31 , year 2013) does not state any punishment . Be informed that the older Regulation (canceled by the mentioned PP) stated that you would be avoided entry to Indonesia without the EPO stamped in your passport . So if Immigration officers tell you that , you humbly should tell them that , but don't be surprised if they don't accept your explanation . You will be 100% safe only with the EPO .

In a case (see link below) , one Immigration officer suggested canceling the KITAS at an Indonesian Embassy , but I never heard about anyone who really did that .
