(1) I don't know , but if the airport officer thinks the gold is not for personal use , he/she can apply the USD250 limit .

(2) Until recently , the Indonesia government limit was Rp100 million (around USD7'500) . You will probably receive a "Goods Declaration" form with the present limits , before you enter Indonesia .

I'm not so sure too. But why do you want to carry the gold as jewelry? You would have just convert it to gold bars or gold coins. I think that should be easier to travel with than carrying it as jewelry except if you are going to give people to wear.
