Need services of a solicitor/notary?

Hi all
we want to serve a legal notice to the builder of our villa terminating the contract due to the ceasing of work some 5 months ago and that the contract completion date actually having expired some 14 months ago.
We aren't seeking to commence legal action, just provide advice to our builder that the contract is now terminated and that we will reserve the right to seek damages if we so choose.
The project is is Buleleng, Bali but it doesn't really matter where the legal notice is served from.
Could someone be able to provide us with a solicitor or is it notary? Who should assist us with this requirement.

Because of some bad experiences, I took it upon myself not to propose agents, lawyers or notaries to others anymore. And I think the Balipod forum is similar to this one, just with a focus on Bali.

I can tell you to look at articles 4.b) and e) of UU 8/99, as well as UU 18/99 for construction issues, and also search for BPSK. That is what was used as threat in our case with some major construction flaws.

Funnily enough, I went to the Balipod website that Indo2000 suggested and there happened to be an advert on the front page for a Lawyer dealing with property issues. Not only that, they are just down the road from our Villa, in Lovina.

They have already contacted me seeking some documentation. Thankfully my lovely wife is an accountant so good at keeping the books in order.

It would appear Allah has our back on this one.
