Well, finally got all the papers in, and the receipt issued. Now, just to wait for the home visit, or office questioning. I hope the rest of the process is easier than the first!

YAY...finally got KITAS and MERP..merp took about 4 working days...all up 3months minus 6days,6 trips to Jember and 1 to Surabaya,RP1,750,000.Lost count of expenses but no bribes given or asked for..although the missus gave the guy at imigrasi 50,000 uang rokok at the end(He was very helpful and friendly,including typing Surat Permohon for us a couple of times! ).looks like going to process SKTT through the Desa if they dont charge us too much!

Oh,i forgot to mention a visa extension while waiting for Jakarta approval..i noticed that this was a POA stamp and also a ajukan Ijin Kunjungan 7 day stamp (another 200.000) I think they juggle the dates around a bit so no conflicting evidence of slowness! slightly confused but what the hey it's all done

My Catatan Sipil charged me Rp70,000 for the items I needed. Wife offered Rp50,000 for gratitude but they refused. Jakarta is getting more and more professional all the time.

We did. My sponsor was my wife. Turned it in with copies of KITAS, PP, Blue Book, wifes KTP, and KK. Not sure if all was needed but we gave it to them any way. Paid the 70,000 and picked up the cards and documents in three days. No problems at all.

got the SKTT card today,all done on the day at Banyuwangi..got ripped of of course cost 300,000....couldn't laminate there so brought it home scanned and made a few copys(i'll laminate all of them and leave the original at home,if it looks okay)...one more trip to Bali tomorrow (good) to get marriage reported at the consulate,then no more bullshit for a year!!! MERRY CHRISTMAS AND A HAPPY NEW YEAR TO EVERYBODY IN THE WORLD nyuk nyuk nyuk...remember x-mas is for kids lets leave religion out of it!.... And big thanks to all who helped me here on this forum...
