Did you try to go to any supermarket? Usually in the alley with dippers for kids or stuff for personal hygiene (soaps, shampoos, pads for women ect.) and cosmetics.

The question is: where do you live is it some very remote place / island?

Erm, yeah I did. Been to pharmacies (Century, Guardian, Watson's), groceries (Hero, Giant, Carrefour, Hypermart) even Indomaret.

KemChicks Kemang had some last time i was there, and they were the better-for-you unbleached kind. Also occasionally used to be for sale at the pharmacy inside Hero on Terogong. They're such a hassle to find outside of Bali that you're probably better off switching to a menstrual cup.
