  • Post editting - original content (suggestion)

Just a suggestion - if its possible to put a clickable button where you can see someone original post/comments before they changed it for whatever the reason may be.
saw one of the old scandalicious thread and some of the content didnt match to the reply due to the previous person editted his/her comment after the brawl, no one quoting as well.
I edit my post if i want to correct my opinion, add extra info or sometimes typo.
Some of us must be trying to put the correct word and sometimes delete the whole line and start again if they have a new opinion along the way.

So basically, adding "What does he/she says on the first place?" Element.

    ...even this post is editted...

Some have found a better trick if there are no answers yet and they don't want to show it's edited: They copy, delete and re-create the whole post. Some forum systems give you only edit rights for 2 hours or so. And you can't delete the whole post...

Indeed. I have seen this in this very forum.

Long ago, I've proposed to suppress the deletion feature, submitting to moderators authorization, especially in the case of OP when the thread includes valuable information or in the case of the deleted post impair the comprehension of the thread for readers. Unfortunately, wm did not favor this option as a permanent setting.

Anyway, I don't think that vbulletin authorizes the solution suggested by the OP, at least with the version we have now.
