It is not working well for me either . I am using Puppy Linux / Firefox . Unfortunatelly I spent 1/2 hour to find a way to post , as after I was logged in (always in the "Home" page) , I was logged out in the next click , an useless page of logged in could be selected at the right of the logged off page (just 1/4 of a normal page width) . Later I discovered that I needed to reload the logged off page to get the logged in page (trying to log in again and again didn't work) .

A couple things I've noticed:
1. The weird log in stuff.... I'm only able to post this now after Marcus explained above. It kept logging in and back out in the next click. When I tried to log in again, it showed up like a narrow drop down menu, but that's actually the logged in homepage (looks like the mobile version). The main window remained logged out.
2. That gave me the idea to try the mobile version on my smart phone. It's all kinds of scrambled up. It's just jumbled text and links that don't fit on the screen. The old mobile version was not ideal (I would always switch to desktop version on my phone but could only browse because it would never let me log in), but this is literally useless.
3. Some account settings can't be changed, but some can. Some of mine needed to be changed back to how I had it. Mine reset my timezone and decided to display age and date of birth publicly. Also, when I tried to save changes to account settings the first time, the whole window went into this repetitive refresh/load spaz/flash temper tantrum.
Thank you guys for all your work. I hope all these hiccups and upchucks can be fixed soon. Basically, my reactions to the new site so far have been "WTF I hate this," then "Actually I kinda like it / Bout time they moved to this decade," then "Wait I can't do anything, I hate this," and finally, "Yeah, where the hell are my bricks?!" I think once everything's fixed, improved, and the functionality is back to normal, the new version will be better than the old. You've definitely got your work cut out for you though.

Seems the roll out was a bit premature. The times listed for when a post is made is a moving target that seems to change depending on one's search criteria used to get to the post. It can also change from the Thread list screen to actual post when opened. Not good.
The posted time for this comment is 3:10 pm while the actual time was 2:43 pm.Last edited by waarmstrong; 06-07-16, 20:57.

I still have no idea whether my posts have posted or not.
oh yeah & time posted 14:48 Indonesia time.

As others have said, thanks for the hard work. Even with all the complaints, I am sure everyone appreciates the effort.
But, always a but, using this thread as an example, every time I view it, I have to start at the beginning and scroll down to find new posts. Latest activity just starts at the beginning. On small threads, it might be okay, but on a thread like the JIS, finding where the new posts started would almost be impossible.
Also, individual posts are no longer numbered. Many times, a previous post was referred to in a response by the number.

The "last post" information is not correct. For example, if I look at the list of threads in Expat Chat, for the unwanted credit card thread it currently shows the last post as being by ScooterIndo at 18:52 today. However, this is wrong in two ways: (1) Scooter's post was YESTERDAY at 18:52. (2) Scooter's post is the penultimate post in the thread.
