Hi all, could somebody please tell me if the English Premier League matches are on tv this week? We have full package from Indovision which last year we saw many games, but this year nothing is showing up on either MNC Sports, Espn and Star sports. Please help as I would like to see the Chelsea game on Sunday. Thank you very much in advance. Paul

They are not on Indovision now. They are on FirstMedia cable, please see :-

You can get them on the live streams listed on that thread or you will be able to watch some matches on local terrestial TV. I'm not sure of the channels as yet but last year it was Global, it may have changed due to MNC loosing the contract I don't know.

To watch them on terrestial TV you will need an antenna as Indovision will not be allowed to air the terrestial TV games, even though they normally air the local channels.

The local TV stations here air both the EPL and FA Cup matches besides ohers such as La Liga, sorry I don't have the lists to hand but Trans covered the FA Cup last year.

(ESPN lost the contract in the States to NBC. This has caused new license rights everywhere, even in the UK where SKY and BT are now sharing them, I believe).

Yes John it is on the channels BeIn Sport 1 and BeIn Sport 2, Channel numbers 147 and 148 respectively and also HD versions of the same channels on 321 and 322, you should already have these channels on your box. They are giving the channels automatically by default and charging 20 000 plus tax from Aug 27, subscrbers who don't want them have to cancel.

Tonight they have One Scottish Premier Leauge match one championship Match to start, followed by two BPL on one and a BPL and a Bundesliga on the other.

I can't remember which channel is showing which match. to find out you have to go to the program schedule and press the OK button for more info, for some reason it doesn't tell you directly on the schedule. I've mailed them and asked them to sort it. (can but live in hope )

Also they told me it was on the PC live stream but that is not working today they are having problems with it.

Just phoned them and it's only available to digital customers. I can't get it in where I am in Surabaya!

Asked when digital will be available to me and got the old "maaf, belum tahu"

Been a loyal customer to them for 8 years, even back in their Cablevision days. They take away the footy from other companies and aren't even ready to give it out to those who are on First Media.

Words can't express how pissed off I'm feeling now...

Hi John, that's bad news, I didn't realise they were digital and non digital customers. We only had the main cable run here earlier this year and I only switched a few months ago from Indovision to First Media to get the FastNet broadband. I've dropped lucky as Indovision have lost out just as I switched providers.

As in my post above they (FirstMedia) did tell me it was also on the FoxSports live stream (it was earlier this year as I watched the last few end of season matches on it), failing that all I can suggest is buy an antenna and watch local TV or use one of the streams on the other thread. (some are OK).

I have read NBC in the USA are streaming some matches on their normal site, it may be possible to access that (if necessary via a US proxy server?).

Thanks for the advice Pip. I did try to stream from their live stream but my connection isn't fast enough for it to be reliable. I tried to upgrade but they said I couldn't as the faster speeds are only available to digital customers.

It's funny. Their website is plastered with advertisements showing off their new baby saying "Are you Ready for the new Premier League!!!"

Hi again John, it's unfortunate if you can't stream the FoxSports also.

The Villa match is on Indosiar terrestial and it seems to be the only one tonight. It looks like Global as lost it also ... maybe they are part of MNC? Y You'll need an antenna for that.

Some of the streams on wiziwig.tv mentioned on the other thread don't need superfast connections, starting around 170/200 Kps going up to 500 kps.

I can't think of any other options for now apart from perhaps finding a local bar ? It's very unfortunate and frustrating for you, I understand how you must feel.

Trying to sign up for Fox Sports live but their website is so buggy, let's me get to the end of the process but when I click on continue nothing happens.

May as well try it as a slow stream may be worth the 10,000 per month. Just to confirm.. if I have fox sports live will I get Bein sports?

All the local places we used to watch footy in has Indovision. I guess if they change to first media they will have the same problems I am.

Hi John, DON"T SIGN UP !! IT IS NOT ON FOX SPORTS LIVE !! Sorry !! They misinformed me earlier. All the new channels BeIn Sports 1 and 2, and Fight Channel are now available on FirtMedia live :-

Other channels tells me to login even though I am. In fact the website seems to have schizophrenia as whenever I try to do something something else random happens.

Just tried all three channels, (BeIn Sports 1, 2 and Fight Ch), after reading your post above and all live streaming OK here after logging in. Looks like gremlins in Surabaya.

Was a waste of time. Customer service just said they don't know what is wrong. I asked if it was because I wasn't a digital customer and she said she wasn't sure.
