Those who pass so much time on this Forum, what's your access? Is it from home or office and which country?
If it's Indonesia, what Internet connection you're on.

As for me, I don't work and am a homemaker with no children in the house. I'm in Europe so Internet is on 24 hours that I could come in anytime. Very easy access.

What about you? (Not to pry but just curious).

I am on an Indonesian Speedy deal. 24 hours home access. I open three windows for professionnal use, three windows for personnal use and I just jump from one to the other.
Untill very recently I was on dial up connection (telkom instan); No broadband available around here. No need to say that it was only one window opened and it was on a 24 hours access because in took me hours just to download a 1MB file!

I have 2 at home, Speedy ADSL (over copper cable) and FastNet (over Kabelvision Cable). Speedy is too slow, unreliable, customer service is nil and charged per GB downloaded. FastNet is fast, almost never goes down and for IDR 335,000 the download is unlimited, not a bad deal. So usually I pay the minimum to Speedy of IDR 220,000 a month as I rarely go over the limit and IDR 335,000 for FastNet. Not a bad price to pay each month to have 2 service providers and unlimited download from 1 of the providers.

Hate to tell you this folks but I am on 24 Mbs in Oz 4 Gig peak and 4 Gig off peak quota for $39 month.
Very cheap, very very fast and also have free VoIP but I do have to pay for the calls of course but they are cheap I think it's $2 for 2 hours to Indo (home phone).
I last remember using Telkom Instan Dial Up when I was on Lombok and man that was soooo slow and soooo unreliable. Very expensive too because of the timed call costing.

For years my telephone bill was rarely less than 3 millions a month just due to the Internet on a dedicated line... ! I have divided by 3 to 5 my bill since they install me Speedy last month (not available before where I live). When I went to kantor Telkom this month I had to ask two time the amount to be paid because I thought there was a mistake !

Telkom Speedy for me. Pretty good actually. Clear voice over skype phone for international call. I'm happy.
