Thread: What channel is the World Cup on?!

Default What channel is the World Cup on?!

We've been traveling during the World Cup, so we've been catching all of the games from the road. We got back to Jakarta today, though, and quickly realized that we have no idea what channel the games are on. We've got First Media Cable, the super-giant-mega-package-- every channel you see listed here, even the 'selection' and 'add-on' packs. We have GOT to watch the US vs. Ghana game tonight... But on what channel?!

    THANK YOU!!!

I don't think they are on cable; the cable companies did not pay to broadcast the games. You may need to buy a cheap set of rabbit ears.

Well, it's over now. The Oriental Republic of Uruguay is through to the final eight...

FAWK! That's what I was worried about... What in God's name do I pay for the grand-daddy of cable for if I can't even get a clear feed of the World Cup?! Ugh. Time to wake up the pembantu and borrow the rabbit ears from her bedroom TV.

Or you could head for virtually any coffee shop or bar that is still open. For example, there are so many TV's and big screen projection sets at CITOS, one can follow the game from almost anywhere in the mall.
