Thread: Anyone here with a Korean wife?

  1. #1

Default Anyone here with a Korean wife?

I may be relocating to Jakarta this summer. My wife is Korean.

In order to keep her happy, she needs to be around other Koreans so they can do their Kimchie thing.

Is there an area where most of the Koreans live in Jakarta?

    I heard there is a large Korean-Town?

There's a Korean restaurant in Patra Jasa building, you can start there.

Hahahaha, I'm sorry, you probably didn't mean to but geez that sounds slightly chauvinistic.

Haha, nah, you don't understand Koreans: Kimchie is their life blood and identity.

Take away their Kimchie, and they die.

I've been married to a K-girl for about 10 years... you learn these things!

Judging by the profusion of Korean restaurants, probably around the Senopati and Kebayoran Baru area.

The best Korean restaurant that I've dinned at in Jakarta is on the ground floor of the Danau Sunter Hotel / Sunlake Hotel.

There is a Korean international school in Jakarta. Might be a good place to ask.
