Vin+ at Kemang; Decanter at Plaza Kuningan
I have googled many times and get thrown here and there, and I don't quite know where some of the exact locations are.
Where is a good wine and liquor shop????? nearest to BSD Area? South Jakarta?
Thanx
Vin+ at Kemang; Decanter at Plaza Kuningan
If you live in BSD you are technically in Tangerang, not Jakarta, and the good thing about Tangerang is that it is officially a dry area.
Nearest to you is VIN+ in Kemang, (not far from Fez bar or Amigos on Jalan Kemang Raya.
Or CITOS has a wine shop called connoisseur, but it might be wine only.
Kemang has a place called duty free, near McD's large range, sometimes problems buying, cash only unless you have a diplomat's passport.
Also Country Roads Housing complex in Bintaro has a quickie mart with a back room, you have to ask, that has a few bottles and so on.
good luck and enjoy.
Actually you may also be able to come to an arrangement with the Metro City Garden (german resto/pub on the 7th floor of the Swiss German University in BSD.
At the back of Food Hall in the bottom of Sogo in PIM 2. Look for the "Italian" counter. A few countries represented by perhaps 20 different bottles. I can't really remember. Prices something like 300 - 500, 000. Picked up a couple of bottles this weekend: one of the cheaper, dry ones - liked it a lot, and am looking forward to the more expensive, sweeter one.
Tell them I sent you and receive a blank stare.
@ balikpapan u can sms / call / email (delivery service)
Does anyone know if RAM on Jalan Ampera Raya (if I'm not mistaken) is still open? If so, it must have weird working hours and even weirder customer service, as every time I went past it looked like it was closed and they don't seem to care much for picking up the phone... :/

Also in Kemang you can visit BAngers and Mash.
Lebak Bulus Carrefour has a spirits and wine shop also. (some silly prices though)
Oh, there also seems to be a new watering hole for the booze inclined just before the corner of the street that goes to SCBD and Jalan Senopati (near Beer Garden SCBD, across from Pad@28). Am yet to check it and its prices out, but I seriously doubt that it will be cheaper than Red Line, the infamous delivery services or the Duty Free places in Kemang.
