I have never bothered with these things.
It always strikes me that you need a real product to run a sustainable business.
If the business relies on selling down to other resellers, it's bound to end up bad somewhere in the tree.
If Mt Trump is at the top, he stands to make a fortune but the mugs at the bottom loose out by buying crap stock they have zero chance of reselling.
This all blew up years ago in the UK as pyramid selling. A few people made a small fortune at it must a lot of people lost their shirts. I believe it was all made illegal over there but I can't check because my internet connection is so slow at the moment. It was then renamed MLM and changed slightly but is still the same scam.

MLM just sells some worthless crap instead of an entrance fee to con their way around the law.Pyramid scheme: An illegal multi-level program wherein people pay an entrance fee for the sole opportunity to recruit others to do the same.
MLM is fine if you are at the top and don't give a rats about the people you con.
