Gday I live in Jakarta and perth. My wife is Javanese and fortunately speaks fluent english. MY Bahasa is well , in the learning mode. I will welcome all advice to make my life in Jakarta fuller. I am still exploring the visas i think I may get until then I am happy with the visa at the airport. I have a lot to learn but i will eventually have a sound knowlwedge so Gday to all and hope to chat in the future. Cheers

Does your wife go to Perth with you? At the moment, although we live in Indonesia, we (my wife and I) spend a fair bit of time in Perth at the moment...maybe we could catch up for a chat to discus the pro's and con's
