Im a bit puzzled here, a German lady on another thread was not allowed to publish her errant ex husbands name, this gentleman has published a name, how do we know he hasnt been messing with the OPs wife and he wants to kill him,

Yes I would like to have that explained too. For example say that woman didn't write the post and subsequent replies but instead didn't reveal the true story, writing something more benign and she came into this thread and asked politely where she could find him, using his name? How is this different?

If I recognized a name in this channel I certainly wouldn't hand over to the op a way to contact him/her. The alternative would be to PM the OP and ask him/her to write a letter that I could then pass on to the one being sought out.
