Default Indonesia's best Premium Cigar TAMBO available in Indonesia and worldwide online

    Hi,
Have seen several posts searching for a good cigar and/or cigar shoppe in Indonesia. I can answer both questions. First the Tambo cigar made by Tambolaka Natural Tobaccos and available online at www.tambocigars.com and shipped anywhere in Indonesia from their outlet shop in Kuta, Bali is the premium cigar you have been looking for. Made from Indonesian tobaccos including an exclusive 5year village aged tobacco that gives these smokes a wonderfully rich taste and relaxing character. Each of the 5 sizes are handmade from only long leaf tobaccos and each cigar is aged at least one year to bring it to flavor perfection. Corona sizes run about $3 a pop and Super Robustos about $6. A real bargain for these hand rolled beauties.

As for the shop, stop by the TNT Shoppe on Jl. Legian and Jl. Benesari in downtown Kuta, Bali. Offering most cuban, honduran, nicaraguan and dominican favorites and the best of Indonesian cigars. The walkin humidor inventory of over 35,000 cigars offers you the most quality cigars of any shop in Indonesia and the lovely upstairs smoking club is a cool and relaxing place to hangout. Again they can be contacted online at www.tambocigars.com or www.thetntshoppe.com . Fine cigars have finally arrived in Indonesia. Enjoy, Balibob

Sounds like a real bargain, and as an added bonus the merchant will include a bit of lip, palate or perhaps throat cancer for regular customers, at no added cost -- for the tobacco that is.

Default Do you mean there are risks in smoking? What a news flash! Thanks a lot...

Feel better now WA? Good than take another anti depressant or buy a big mac for your health and start an anti smokers thread somewhere as this forum is open to all opinions. Clearly this thread is for adults who understand the risks of cigar smoking and choose to accept that risk rather than utilizing other methods to relax. I am sure you will find many followers who also desire to tell others how to live thier lives and maybe that would be a good thread for you to start. Have a good day. Balibob

I seem to remember that Johnny was a smoker.

Yes, agreed that an anti-smoking thread would be a wonderful idea. I will give that some thought. Other wonderful things include, as you note, the freedoms we all enjoy to make our own choices, and the freedom to comment, at least on this Forum, on the advantages and disadvantages thereof.

I kind of agree with some of the points raised by Balibob. Smoking is indeed dangerous, we all know it and Balibob recalls it in his post (#3), just in case someone would not be aware of it. I have quit smoking about 12 years ago while I was smoking about 50 batang a day. I believe that everyone in this forum is aware of the danger of such habit and it may not be necessary to spoil this thread with more posts "against tobacco" than necessary. A thread called "smoking is for d*** a**" has been started in the expat channel and is more than enough to satisfy those who want to warn about the danger of smoking. Thanks not to add negative (but true) comments on the danger of smoking. This thread is "for adults who understand the risks of cigar smoking and choose to accept that risk ". Those who read this thread are not an uneducated people who live in small remote kampungs but people who are informed and able to take a decision knowing the consequences it may has. Furthermore, smoking is legal, therefore I don't see the need to add here more to the legal warnings, nor I would see any reason not to allow the thread to develop. Once again, those wanting to post on the danger of smoking and/or post studies on the subject and/or talk about cancer (...etc) are invited to do so in a thread of their own or in an existing thread on these topics. This channel is called "where to find" and there is/was indeed unanswered request on where two find cigars in Indonesia.

To Balibob: I invite you to read the Posting Guidelines and the paragraph concerning advertising business. Your 2 threads both includes link to your business. this infracts one of our rule: a user may advise a business but can do not do so more than 1 time per month. Therefore, I will delete your second thread.

    Hi Atlantis,
Thank you for your input. I apologize for the error of putting my business web address into two posts in one month. I understand that rule and realize it is necessary to keep the site from becoming mere advertising. My purpose here was to see if sufficient expat cigar smokers existed in the forum that might enjoy discussing our common enjoyment and past time. I certainly do not intend to encourage non smokers to start smoking premium cigars. I think that would be a bit loooney anyway and clearly a forum such as this is not the place to do it if I did have such a purpose in mind. I think I made it clear that I sought discussion with cigar lovers and not combat with bored anti smoking zealots. I have enjoyed many discussions on other forums (many enjoying over 50,000 unique visits a day and with individual threads I began running several hundred responses without a single anti smoking discourtesy) with those who enjoy a good stoagie and can share brands and reviews and other such info in a subject they enjoy. Perhaps minds on this forum are too closed to allow for such participation in which case I will not bother to post again. I have fulfilled my simple desire, which was to answer a question posed by a participant on this forum which I stumbled across in google. Hopefully he/she will get the info and not the harping of anti adult choice zealots. If cigar lovers exist in this small forum who wish to socialize I am happy to join in; But to be honest the anti smoking zealotry seems to be in abundance here and for me to remain would be acting with the same lack of courtesy and respect that their posts on a clearly cigar friendly thread demonstrated. I certainly share nothing in common with those who seek to control the rights of other adults to enjoy a legitimate past time. I appreciate your efforts to clear the air (pardon the pun) and will just let the thread sit, with your ok, to see if any cigar lovers exist here. If not I see no reason to remain involved as many forums exist that promote diversity of interests even to the radical extent of cigar enjoyment.

Sounds like an invitation ... so:-

Drifting not completely off thread, this reminds me of the days immediately prior to the introduction of the Lexus. After spending megabucks to develop an ad campaign for the a car that Toyota wanted to tout as very safe, very comfortable and relaxing to drive, their agency (convinced that they didn't need the services of native speakers of English) insisted that the campaign slogan be:

    Rest In Peace!
