Second hand book shops??!!!!

If you are looking for books in English, there is a second hand thrift shop at Pasar Festival - Jalan HR Rasuna Said (many embassies in that area). The shop is located on the 1st floor (not ground floor) by the food court. During a few visits there, I have seen about 100 books of various topics available. It has a much larger collection of magazines from the past year +.

Is this the one that also has Japanese fashion thing sold in the same store? Because if it is, it's kinda disappointing. Today I found Italian IKEA catalog sold for 65 thousand there! (Grmbl! And I only have 50 with me because all I wanted to do was swimming but came at the wrong hour!)

I prefer the one called Gudang Buku next to the Bowling entrance. The owner also told me that if you were looking for something else (other titles, genre, author) just tell them, the space in Pasar Festival is very limited, they have a big warehouse in Lebak Bulus.

There is a second hand book store in the second floor in CITOS. opposite the mata hari supermarket. directly above and toilets, behind burger king.

The book place has two other stores in Pluit Junction and Mall Artha Gading. I never been to the other stores.

maybe you can go to pasar senen in central jakarta. 2 years ago i looked for secondhand book and luckily discovered it in pasar senen.if you buy a book in pasar senen, you can offer the price until half price.

you can also find some english books at blok m square basement. I was luck enough to buy english storybooks for 10K!
