Default I wanted to attend but...

Erm... The IDR 5.000.000 registration fee (early registration rate !!!) is a joke, isn't it?

"Seminar will be conducted in Bahasa Indonesia... but... questions and issues may be raised by Participants in English".
Well, a few expats here do not speak bahasa indonesia. they have the right to ask questions, but... well... for the answer we do have a few threads proposing bahasa indonesia course. Hurry guys, you have a couple of month...

Well, I guess I should thank our generous sponsors for their offer...

I am wondering what insights and information not available, but for the asking on the Forum, in English no less, will be provided at this seminar to justify the rather hefty fee. I would like to lurk around the door just to see who if anyone actually shows up. Perhaps there are expats who will be directed by their companies paying the fee to attend, but I would think that conducting the presentation in Indonesian limits the population of potential attendees rather severely.

P.S. Usually, these sorts of "seminars" conducted Stateside by professionals (lawyers, real estate agents, accountants) are primarily for the purpose of drumming up clients. The big difference between those and this is that the Statesiders are working on the come.

Before opening this thread, I knew, I just knew that the cost of the seminar was going to be outrageous. I also thought to myself, "surely, the info on offer doesn´t require a full blown seminar, does it?"

For 5M Fred, you could probably book a flight, coz I believe Atlantis left all his hair in a barbershop in Paris.

    Never been to Paris.
I was seriously pissed off one day so I jumped on my motorbike and buggered off to France for a ride.
Saw the two main roads out of Calais.
The Paris road looked bloody terrible, jammed up and messy.
The other said "Le Sud" (Spelling?) and was empty.
No competition. 2 weeks wandering round France on a black Honda XBR 500. Very nice it was too.
