    Default Wood-Fired Oven

One of my New Year resolutions for 2010 is to build a wood-fired oven - for al fresco pizzas, roasts, bread, etc, etc.

Have already done quite a bit of homework but would be interested to hear if anyone out there has already, "Been There, Done That".

<PS If there is an overwhelming clamour, I might be tempted to divulge some of my other resolves; complete lack of interest though, is no guarantee I won't bore you with details anyway.>

I'd be very interested in your results, I did a google search on 'how to' but that is as far as I got, where to put the bloody thing is an issue for me so that was a good enough excuse for me to procrastinate...
Will you consider home deliveries, to Solo, if you go ahead with the idea? ...

The wood-fired oven will get built; I've already done a large brick rotisserie oven with cowling a la Mexico in a disused kamar mandi, although I've still to fire it up.

Home deliveries? Of what? Roasts and fairy cakes or full ovens.

<Ahhh procrastinating ... heavy on the wrists ... best done in moderation.>

    Pizza's ...

The server refuses to accept my pic of Homer drooling, so you will just have to imagine it...

    Got one. Well, had one.
Dead easy to get hold of. The people who make gravestones usually have a selection of them.
All they are is a stone or concrete 3 sided square tunnel, with a hole in the top to let the heat out, to burn the wood under.
On top of that place a standard bottomless oven available in a load of shops for sod all and a bit.

Cost - Just a little over sod all.
Results - Bloody nice pizza and excellent bread.
