Odd wife sponsored KITAS question
Bloke I know. Foreign passport has a wife sponsored KITAS valid for many months to come.
About 10 I believe but could be wrong.
Wife has been arrested and potentially could end up doing time. Something to do with forging documents related to sale of a property but I have no details.
I would guess his KITAS would be void in that event but I don't know. Any ideas?

My thought was that, if his sponsor was behind bars, she would not be valid as she could not take responsibility for him any longer.
Good point. Maybe there is something on the books regarding that. If the cops don't ask him during their investigation how else could it be known? If there is a law about it and authorites don't know about it for months but then find out would ignorance save him from major problems or would there be a problem for him at all other than having to leave within days?
