SosBud to KITAS or VITAS to KITAS (sponsored by wife)?

Halo semua....
Bulan depan kami rencana pulang ke Indo (suami US citizen) dan kami tinggal di Chengdu sedang KBRI di Beijing. Prosedur mana yg lebih mudah,

1. Ke KBRI Beijing together apply Sosbud (60 days, right?), cost USD42, then go to Indonesia to converse it to ITAS then KITAS. Apply SosBud Visa : Invitation Letter from Indonesia (it would be me), Sponsor Letter from company where my husband work (but problem is my husband would unemployment by that time), Paspor (Asli/potokopi), potokopi China PR and paspoto 2 lbr (I called one of embassy staff to know abt this and she is such a )

2. I go to Indonesia while my husband stay here then I apply for him from Indonesia to get VITAS in KBRI Beijing. Then he go to Beijing to get VITAS, enter Indonesia and get KITAS.

I would pick choice number 1. Imigrasi normally needs to check the original of all documents (passport...etc). Difficult if your husband is in Cina.
