I know in US and in Sby they always ask for red background for passport/visa photograph. So, I guess I'll do it in red background. Maybe next time I'll give a try to KL if my younger one is older or if I have someone to accompany me. Right now I have 6 y.o., 4 y.o., and 20 months old baby. Don't really want to take a chance with three grouchy kids after all day without rest. Thanks all for your help.

Marcus, about discount. I asked Hanna express if they offer group discount and I get no answer from them. I guess that means no. Oh well, at least I give it a try. Better than nothing...

Because I don't like this kind of rush , I prefer Kuala Lumpur (KL) . Doing by yourself there you get the visa the next day , without an agent . With the S$100 extra one has to pay the agent in Singapore , I can pay the extra hostel/food in KL getting the visa without rush .

Better check if it is not a holiday in Singapore :

Arrgh .... why do I do this to myself!
I just got a business visa, valid for two months. In at 10.30 and back at 4.30 same day. I used Ismail.

hello I used Maju Travel Service in Singapore to renew my Sosbud visa. I gave him my passport and believe I gave him my sponsor letter (though am not sure this was needed), paid $160 SGD and got my visa the next day. Mr. Hoe picked up my passport from my hostel, but because it was raining hard and my hostel was close, asked if I could pick up my passport from his office which I did the following day. Mr. Hoe was straightforward. The office is close to the Clarke Quay MRT stop. I stayed at FiveStonesHostel and it was $30 per night for dorm room. Very nice hostel, the best I have stayed in.
