Thread: Imported Meats

    Default Imported Meats

Any suggestions on where to buy graded imported meat? Sorry to say, the local beef is not very good from my experience, and although I enjoy the Indonesian food, there are just times I want a quality cut of beef.

All my past sources are telling me they can no longer import foods from out of the country.

Also, a good healthy bran cereal, not the kids cereal found in most of the markets here.

    Thanks for any help

I think you are just buying from the wrong places and getting ripped off.
I buy lots locally for the burgers and the quality is very good.
The new bloke even cuts away all the fat so I only get lean beef.
I've often bought a bit extra just because it looked so good it made me fancy a steak.
I have yet to be disappointed.

Can't help really on the meat because don't eat it often but I have seen All Bran and All Bran Flakes in Food Hall at PIM2 and also Carrefour. Also if you are interested I found Ground Golden Flaxseed in Ranch Market and made Oat and flaxseed muffins.........only a wee tiny it of sugar in the recipe so they are really quite healthy, tasty and fibre packet. You feel like you are being sinful eating them which is the nice part- well I do when I am eating anything in the shape of a muffin
If you want the recipe let me know.
If you could have one super power what would it be?
