I don't think it's worth it anymore. The Singaporean rupiah is at an all-time high, and you can probably find the same, or even better prices, for lenses nowadays in Jakarta. Even when you get the GST back. This is based on an actual lens purchase in Singapore just a month ago.
I've done lots of price comparisons over the years and have found no real advantage in buying stuff in Singapore. Only advantage can be a greater choice of products/models etc.
