Come home to a dog and you're greeted by kisses and excited leaping about.

If you own a cat, look at it's face when you walk in the door and try to tell me it's only comment isn't "Feed me now."
Just because you got the monkey off your back doesn't mean the circus has left town!

    Welcome.
Hey thank you for that! That's really kind. By the way, you have the most eyecatching gif icon!! Where can you find these things?

Yep, that sounds about right. Doggies treat you like you're one of the Beatles, while my cats notice my arrival, but they will only make a move if they hear a can opening - signed, a willing slave to both.

NO WAY, I used to have a cat, and she ALWAYS greeted me by the door, and clings for about an hour. She had her auto feeder/waterer set up so they are available anytime she wants My cat was very affectionate and snuggly, I loved her!!! Not sure if her personality has something to do with her breed though, she was a pure bred Ragdoll.

Cats have personalities, my mother in law's cat could care less about kisses and snuggles (she was a persian).

    Welcome to the forum Jessie!

Thank you so much for the warm welcome, Sari.D! Loved reading about your dear cat - She sounds like the perfect jaga! Where would we be without our furry creatures waiting for us when we come home? Life's better with a fourlegged friend!! Many, many thanks.
