I'd totally adopt them if I were in the position to have pets.
Good luck finding a home for Desmond & Molly.
Wanted! Alive (of course)
A nice person or family for… Desmond & Molly
(two small pooches who were rescued one year ago from the garbage area on the corner of Jl. Haji Sjahlim I near Radio Dalam.) pics available on request.
At a marketplace far, far away...our story begins.
We have been living on Jakarta’s streets, but that hasn’t changed us any. We are the nicest, most lovable dogs you will ever meet! Molly is scared, but deep down she adores humans. Desmond loves cuddling.
We are: √Fully immunized against rabies, parvo, distemper, parainfluenza, hepatitis, coronavirus, leptospirosis (11/11)
√Spayed & neutered (of course! Like who isn’t these days?!)
√At a vet’s shelter right now awaiting that special someone. (update: Molly is still at the shelter but Desmond is being fostered at a temp home as he became too sick at the shelter and temporarily lost eyesight in his right eye. He's been treated by a vet, fully recovered but will not be returning to this shelter. Both need forever homes. )
Could it be you?
Every good dog deserves favor…Our vet costs and boarding bill have been looked after by our animal-loving benefactor. The only thing we would like to ask for is an interview of any interested parties, and to check out where we would be living.
All we need is love … and a place to call (a forever) home.
But foster homes are also welcome – we just need to feel that love, security and trust again. And we will gratefully return that love to you…

What religion are they?
Thank you so much BowChika Wow Wow, that's heartwarming to hear. Thanks also for your good wishes. Luck is what I need! many thanks
A very good question, as it's hard to tell these days. Desmond strictly worships the person in charge of filling his feeding bowl - totally devout in that area. Molly remains a bit hesitant. She's a tough one to read. Will have to check with her next time she empties her bowl. Best guess: I have a feeling they would readily convert to that religion of whoever is holding the yummiest snacks. Thank you, Waarmstrong. Any interest is good news.
Anyone with both a soft heart and a sense of humor deserves to be rewarded for their efforts, especially if they are a Beatles fan to boot. Good luck; hope you find a good home for the Jones. Obladi Oblada.
Hi, if my husbands interview for IB teachers job turns out the way we want it to, we'll have them!! We will try our best
to bring our family dog,Kajsa 6 yrs, who is a Norfolk terrier, and also our old lady and empiress of the Jansson family ( her staff, basically...) our Siamese 8 yr old lady Candy, but there will be room for two more! Living in Madrid, a street dog moved in with us without even asking first, and he is currently with our Daugther in Sweden. Expat dog![]()
That's fantastic news! Bless your hearts!! Fingers crossed all goes well for your husband's interview and that you get your dogs here as well. Molly and Desmond will be waiting. Thank you so much for your kind posting!!
We are looking for a small dog, who can be happy to be in the house and the little garden - no area around here can provide a real run for big dogs. Is it possible to adopt just Molly? (we had female dogs before) May i have some pictures? Thanks.
