It is to laugh. Hating Jews or hating Muslims share one side of the coin. The coin here has such unsupported name-calling on one side; reason, irony and humor on the other. The characterization as haters, those who find Islam, and religion in general, as irrational puts your post on the name-calling side.

When did I find people that think religion is irrational are haters? There are plenty of atheists content with living their lives without hating religion or religious people. For that matter, there are plenty of religious people who couldn't care less what others choose to believe (or to not believe).

What I'm saying is simply that religious people has no monopoly on bigotry.

Edit: the side opposite religion is not reason, it's simply non-religion a.k.a. atheism. Being an atheist doesn't automatically grant you solid reasoning ability. Religion doesn't cure stupidity, neither does atheism.

Bigotry is nondenominational and as you clumsily pointed out can live quite well in an areligious environment. Most religion practicianers, especially those of the Book, can easily find bigoted marching orders in their texts. Fortunately most believers don't swallow the whole package.

Irreligious people can be self absorbed in believing the superiority and infallibility of their views too. Self-righteousness is obnoxious regardless to whether God or reason is used as justification.
