    Default Divorce

Im looking for advice on divorce.. Ive been married 12 years, currently on my second KITAP and want to divorce. Under the new regulations I understand that I should have the right to remain in Indonesia without sponsor (over 10 yrs married, valid KITAP). Anybody know what the process is??

The law pertaining to that rule has not yet been implemented.

The paragraph (2)g , Article 62 of the Law 6 - 2011 , warrants you the KITAP , but in practice what can happen is that , as the revision of the Regulation is not issued yet , some immigration officers may say that they cannot apply this rule .
It should be good if you talk to your Kantor Imigrasi about that .
