One of my friend visit often her sister who have a golden retriever.
This kind of dog is well know for being absolutely none aggressive and they were accustomed to play together regularly.
    Never ever have a problem...

One day, the kid was ALONE in a room with the dog, nobody know what happen, but the kid (around 4 year olds) got bite by the head and skaked like a puppet, he got disfigured and seriously traumatized!

In my own experience, I have grow up with dog (German shepherd) at home since always.
    Never get any bad experience.
The worse that happen was when he pinch (not a bite... just an advise) my neighbor with who I was playing... look like the dog didn't appreciate my plymate was running after me!!!

I would NEVER EVER let a kid alone with a dog.

Exactly Mr Philippe, we would never let the two alone in the same room, without watching them.

You never know what either of them will do.

If you're watching them, then they wouldn't be alone.

I always see news reports where people are always saying their dogs are the friendliest, and never hurt anyone before. I hope your baby is always safe and sound. Many Indonesians don't use seat belts, kids seats, and the like. I guess I've been programmed to be extra safe, especially where kids are concerned.
