I moved to Jakarta about 3 weeks ago and am staying in Kemang until early November to finish processing some paperwork for my research before moving further away from Jakarta (probably closer to Bogor) because I will be a visiting researcher at UI Depok. During the course of the year, I'll mostly be traveling around the entire archipelago for my research, so I'm not really sure what there is to do when I'm actually in a city for a long period of time. I've just started some language learning but if any one can give me any suggestions as to things to do around here that would be great. I have a tendency to just work all day if I don't get someone to drag me out to see the sights...
Hope to hear from everyone soon!
