looking for a residential unit for rent in pontianak

Hi all,

I m desperately looking for a house to rent in Pontianak for a period of 3 months only. I m moving to Jakarta in Jan. and my current land lord is asking insane amount of money to renew my current contract for 3 months. I have been looking around but it’s becoming hopeless to find anyone willing to rent for anything less than a year.

A small place with some basics is good enough as long as it’s clean. Pls send me any tips, info or whatever is helpful. thanks a lot

Where have you looked so far? I'm in Jakarta now, but if I were you, I would look first into the ads on Pontianak Post.

i ve been checking Pontianak post and Metro continuously in the past few days but most of the units on AD there r for sale not rent. spending the 3 months in affordable B&B seems the only option

Not sure what B&B is, but it sounds to me you may want to consider multiple rooms in a kos/boarding house.
