Indonesian looking to make UK visit visa (no sticky anywhere, please check my list)

so my gf applied for her visa at 8am this morning. they said it could take up to 15 days (i will just assume this means 15 working days, ie 3 weeks)

i am positive as i don't think we could have supplied much more info/docs

i also noted to them that if they reject the visa for what ever reason, we will go somewhere else none the less. i was thinking do a week in egypt then a week in dubai/abu dhabi

Good luck with your gf's visa application. I did read through the list of documents you're supplying and I was impressed at how comprehensive they were. Cross fingers they're enough to satisfy the British Embassy.

By the way, as an Indonesian, your gf will still need to apply for a visa if you intend to go to Egypt.

Pleased to report my girlfriends visa got sorted :-). It took exactly the 3 weeks (working days) you mentioned METAL. Apparently, that's their service standard. Good luck with yours.

Just an update

Her visa was approved last Friday

Took 2 weeks total submitted friday and picked up the following friday (2 weeks later)

6 month multi entry visa. no questions asked. they kept my beautiful well organized folder though. hopefully when we need to make another one in the future they will have it on record already so we don't have to do all of that again.

So its 2.5 weeks in London for my baby for Christmas and New Year, meet the family, get some historical sights and museums, eat some good food and drink some proper beer - followed by 5 days of chillin out in Dubai on the way back for some sun, sand, luxury and good service. can't wait

Great news mate. Well done. We got most of our stuff back luckily - submission for the Schengen visa tomorrow (Holland - we're stopping over for a few days) - wish i'd not bothered now lol.
