Just a quick question, I shall be applying for the new 5 year KITP shortly, I am curious regarding the MERP, can one have it for 5 years, or would it still be 6 month renewable, or 11 months, dont expect it will be free

Pardon me for piggybacking, but I did not realize there is such a thing as a two-year KITAS. How does one qualify for that?
Only researchers (accredited by the relevant ministry) and a (very) few investors are eligible for it.
