Halloween

Hi everyone,

My family and I will be having our first halloween in jakarta this year. I am wondering if there are any trick or treating events/parties for kids?

I've never heard of it before myself but I guess it would depend where you live.

If you live in a housing complex, maybe you should ask your RT about it?

Leslynchan, Halloween is not an Indonesian tradition.

However, if you live in an area with lots of foreigners, they might have it. But if you live side by side with locals, i doubt that they'll have any such events.

Check with the expat groups (AWA, CWA, St Patrick's) and school groups (PTA) if you have children in school here. Quite often trick or treating is organised in large housing complexes.
