Jstar, I know how ridiculously expensive they are here. They are sweet like other cats and very attentive, but some people don't like the fact that it's almost hairless.

Well, as it is with every animal, including hamsters (to keep the link to the OP ), it depends: You can be allergic to hair (particles) and dust. In that case, obviously a naked animal will definitely improve the situation. But you can also be allergic to animal saliva or sweat; then a hairless breed won't help.

@alia, yeah, it feels kinda weird. I love the soft and lush fur coat that my cat has though I hate how it clings on my red dress (I've an orange tabby).

My Mrs has an orange tabby. 16 pounds of fur ball. She loves him to death. Tought him to sit and shake for treats and he sleeps in our bed. ....I think he's an ass.
