Well, as it is with every animal, including hamsters (to keep the link to the OP), it depends: You can be allergic to hair (particles) and dust. In that case, obviously a naked animal will definitely improve the situation. But you can also be allergic to animal saliva or sweat; then a hairless breed won't help.
