    Jstar, I know how ridiculously expensive they are here. They are sweet like other cats and very attentive, but some people don't like the fact that it's almost hairless.

    PS: if anyone has allergy to cats but want to have one, NEVER EVER EVER EVER CHOOSE SPHYNX! You're suicidal if you do so.

    Well, as it is with every animal, including hamsters (to keep the link to the OP ), it depends: You can be allergic to hair (particles) and dust. In that case, obviously a naked animal will definitely improve the situation. But you can also be allergic to animal saliva or sweat; then a hairless breed won't help.
