My son is about 10 months old and he's diagnosed with "Kawasaki" disease and is now being treated at a hospital in my home country.
Although he is scheduled to be discharged in a few days, he needs to monitor his heart condition for a few years to come.
He and my wife will fly to Jakarta in a few weeks to live here with me.
Now, my question is this.
Is there ANY International hospital in Jakarta that has a good doctor and good facilities that have had experiences with KAWASAKI patients???
If there is any, please let me know.
or e-mail me directly!
Thank you so much!
He who ask a question may look stupid for 5 minutes
but he who doesn't ask will be stupid for the rest of his life.
I don't know about international hospital but a few friends (doctors) inform me the central national hospital Cipto Mangunkusumo (RSCM) could treat kawasaki disease patients
I might not like my government, but I love my country
maybe if you told us more about the kawasaki condition (ive never heard of it) we would be better able to advise mate, what are the symptoms what are the treatments needed etc.
Just because you got the monkey off your back doesn't mean the circus has left town!
Seems like a pretty rare condition. Perhaps your wife should stay where she is, near proper treatment, until you have established that the expertise exists here.
Puritanism: The haunting fear that someone, somewhere, may be happy.
Thank you guys.
Your comments were quite helpful.
Please try to continue to find out some information about which doctors/hospitals have had experiences with treating Kawasaki-diagnosed patients.

Try Omni Hospital Alam Sutera, it's an international hospital and it has a Kawasaki centre.

Thank you very much Nickie.
Is Omni Hospital Alam Sutera near or within Pondok Indah???
Not very close to Pondok Indah. It would be a good 40mn to 1 hour by car from Pondok Indah.
