My Indonesian marriage office (KUA) accepted a notarized statement I got from my country , in substitution of the LNI from my Embassy .

I remember one poster saying he/she used an Indonesian notarized statement , but with 2 persons from his/her country signing the statement as witnesses .

So , it is possible but you need to confirm that at the Indonesian marriage office where you want to marry .

Thanks marcus I meant it like that and this gives me some hope, my fiancee will go to jember java timur soon to visit her family and then she can get the informations at the KUA Jenggawah (jember) where she's from if they accept a notarized statement.

I might give her copies of my passport and birth certificate to show if needed and should it work we will look for a notarist.

I will go to Singapore for a visa run in November so after that we will have a lot time again, but we try to gather everything asap now.
