Scuba Diving In Batam

I just moved my family from the United States to Batam and My oldest son and I are looking for Scuba Buddies. My wife and youngest son hope some of your families like to hang out on the beach while you go diving. Let me know if you are interested in starting a dive tribe unless there is already a diving club here. This group would be open to both expats and locals who enjoy diving.

Thank you for the information. I had found them earlier, but the last entry on them was in 2008 so I am hoping to find more current information. I called Tori Beach resort and tehy do not provide that service any longer....

sometime ago, he was over enthuastic promoting Batam in scubaboard but not able to provide sufficient evidence other then poor viz pic, no fish though the coral seem healthy.
never heard again..

anyway it is not difficult to reach the world class dive destination from Singapore; Manado (Bunaken/Lembeh) and Bali is only one flight to go.

I know the waters for diving in Batam are not the best, but world class diving is a short boat ride away. I just want to get people together as a group to do it.
