I heard the same story but it supposedly happened some years ago in a Pondok Indah house on Jl Metro Pondok Indah. The house is now in the process of being destroyed. Maybe that's what it meant.
I tried to google using El_goretto hints, and yep I found story about 7 expat ghosts and a haunted house in Pondok Indah ,its supposed to happen 20-30 years ago . I still think it's somekind of myth or hoax anyway .
The last time (iirc) murder involving expats happened in Bogor , Japanese elders were murdered by their gardener .
I dont remember any murders in Kemang for the last 2-3 years.

There's a house at Pondok Indah whereby the story was, a whole family was slaughtered by their own maid, like few years ago (around 90's).
Myths says, one "nasi goreng" selller was being called one night to come inside the house ( this was around early 2000) and he never returned back out.
The three words women hate to hear when having sex: "Honey, I'm home!"
Placing an urban legend distant in time gives it an air of believability, especially when coupled with local willingness to attribute events to mysterious supernatural forces.
Anything is possible in this country...hence my tone...
just an update .
Yesterday , an expat killed his future Indonesian bride then killed himself (suicide) .It happened at Kalibata apartment, about 3-4 km east of Kemang.

Yes, the guy stabbed his Indonesian girl friend to death and then stepped in front of a train as reported in the Globe. I suppose there will be an apartment for sale in Kalibata soon -- cheap.
