I guess it depends where you are working, and your budget. I don't like Kuta/Legian much. Noisy, crowded, etc.

and full of BOBs (bules on budget) henna tattoos bintang bali vests etc etc i agree stay out of kuta legian and seminyak crowded over priced and certainly not the Bali you want if you are living on the Island.
